The Williams Wedding Review

iBee Events lead day-of coordination for Mark and Deanna’s wedding with the aim of providing tact and reason during mishaps and a smooth transition through activities. Watch the video of both the bride and groom’s review of their wedding day to see if owner Brittany Bowens pulled it off!

On June 6, 2015, iBee Events coordinated a sea of ivory, blush and gold for couple Deanna and Mark Williams at the World of Faith Love Center. The ceremony featured Deanna’s jaw-dropping walk down the isle wearing a custom beaded gown from Anya’s Bridal and a beautiful smile on her father’s arm. Mark and Deanna were united at the church alter while friends and family looked on with love and applause.

The reception that catered to the grooms New Orleans traditions followed the ceremony at the Ivy Community Foundation center. The theme was a sentiment of home for the Groom, who came to tears during his thank-you as he showed appreciation for family and friends who helped him through Hurricane Katrina.

The Williams’ evening was otherwise full of dancing, laughs and well wishes. The reception started with a buffet-styled meal of baked chicken and roast beef, catered by family member Wanda Dixon. Groomsman Kevin Miles lead a heartfelt toast portion of the reception, after which the bride and groom toasted to each other before cutting the cake. After that they danced the night away!

Although young, Deanna and Mark have been together for 7 years, which showed in their family-structured ceremony and emphasis on tradition and God. iBee Events owner Brittany Bowens, who lead day-of coordination, said it made the couple easier to work with.

“It was amazing to witness them unite,” she said. “I love the fact that what they have is genuine. They have real love for reach other and you can tell. Deanna was an amazing bride to work with -- her and her newly joined family. Everything ran smoothly, and I can only wish them many years of happiness.”
